  11. If anybody who reads, knows something :

  13. 1. Now what processor will be in A1200+ (or what it will be called), 
  14.    40 MHz 030 like i heard or 040 like some guys state?
  15. 2. What will be the PRICE... should not be too much, i think...
  16.    of course this depends on what comes with it... RAM and
  17.    harddrive size...
  18. 3. As it has SIMM-sockets, i HOPE it will come with *at least*
  19.    4 MB RAM... some developpers (games, demos) tend to develop
  20.    for the PLAIN system, so a A1200 with 030 and only chip ram
  21.    would be NO IMPROVEMENT AT ALL HERE !!! The minimum model
  22.    HAS to have Fast memory and harddrive !!!
  23. 4. What about building ONE Zorro-Slot to the machine, anyway
  24.    if it is ZII or ZIII... should not raise the price that much...
  25.    but... As cosysop of a BBS i know a LOT of computer users,
  26.    and the main complain of A1200 users is that they can't put a
  27.    GFX Board to their A1200, and switching to A4000 they would
  28.    have no use of their 50 MHz Blizzard board anymore or something like
  29.    that... and Zorro-boxes are expensive... there need not be
  30.    MUCH slots in the A1200, but at LEAST ONE... this is more urgent
  31.    than a PCMCIA slot, in my opinion...
  32. 5. About the disk drive... i heard it is a modified PC HD disk drive.
  33.    If that is true... is it possible to add software that people can
  34.    store data on disks with 1.4 MB ? That is much more than 880KB...
  35.    Maybe a modified "Cross Dos"...
  36. 6. For the next software package : The applications of the curent are okay,
  37.    but the games... urx... they would better have choosen Dungeonmaster II
  38.    and Alien Breed 3D or Gloom or something like that... :)
  39. 7. Internet Package... when will it be available for the package
  40.    if one does NOT want to buy an A1200 and a modem additional ?
  41. 8. When will the A1200+ will be available?
